60% of Ministry Goal Reached
Thanks to the generosity of seven supporters, Abiding Grace Ministries has reached 60% of our initial $1500 end-of-year fundraising goal. I am so grateful to each and every person who has contributed so far. I am excited to see what the Lord has done so far and what I hope that He will do to help me reach these goals. If you don't what I'm talking about, keep reading.
What This Fundraiser is For
Starting on Giving Tuesday (December 2), I started a campaign called "Help Me Grow My Christian Publishing Ministry." This is meant to help me expand the work that I doing publishing books, digital ministry resources, and book reviews so that I get closer to my goal of dedicating my time to full time volunteer ministry. However, even the gradual rate of growth, it will take me quite some time to reach that goal. To help accelerate the growth, I am looking to cover the costs of several tools, services, and subscriptions that will help me expand my publishing ministry and eventually help me dedicate my time to full-time volunteer ministry.
One Special Item I Am Hoping to Cover
While I have a list of items I am hoping to cover, there is one item on this list that I want to highlight here. One of the things that I have wanted to do for the last several year is to expand my youth ministry education. However, since traditional college degrees are not an option at this time, I have been looking into online youth ministry certifications. Out of all the options I've researched, the best options I have found is a certificate in youth discipleship from Fuller Youth Institute. FYI is well known for quality youth ministry resources and tools for youth pastors and youth leaders. Obtaining this certificate would not only help me produce higher quality youth ministry resources, but would also help boost my credentials for future youth ministry pursuits.
However, there's a small catch - there are having a sale on the certificate that ends this Friday (December 19th) and given the costs, I will not be able to afford this certificate along with some of the other items on my lists unless I reach the initial $1500 goal my this date.
